Isometric camera angles and art
Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun
The art style for this game is amazing because it has two different art depending what faction you choose for example: if you choose GDI it's a modern type with a slightly futuristic feel with some artillery units meaning the Destroy mammoth MK.II.
Whereas if you side with the NOD faction it's a complete futuristic feel to all of its buildings and units apart from the general buildings like the command centre, Tiberian harvester/silo and the machine factory everything else looks like it's 100 years into the future.
The isometric style for this game worked exceptionally well as you didn't need to rotate the camera angle to see where the enemy was coming from to play the game efficiently and you didn't need to worry about how the base looked aesthetically because your a lot of buildings ARE going to be destroyed whether you build defences or stealth generators.

Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
The artistic style of Dawn of war represents the style used throughout the Warhammer: 40,000 universes with the added element of creating your own colour palette for whatever faction you choose for example I typically play Necrons/Chaos Marines and Change the colour palette to match my own taste. Depending on what faction you choose changes the art style dramatically, for example, Chaos Marines have a very grotesque style to them using demonic summoning to build their structures whereas Orks use a style where it looks like they have scavenged all of their materials to build their structures.
The isometric styles of this game work similarly to Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun (COC) except the rotation of the camera works a lot easier than COC which isn't surprising considering the difference in years when the games were released.

League of Legends a 3V3 or 5V5 MOBA game released in 2009 uses the isometric camera angle to help distinguish where your champion is on the map and allows you to see a 360-degree view to help plan ahead, for example, being able to see where your enemy is allowing you to plan whether it would be a good idea to play aggressive or defensive throughout the game. It also helps when you are being "ganked" a term used to describe one of one of the teams' champions leaving the "jungle" or "lane" to help a teammate with an attack on an enemy champion. the artistic style of this game is extremely beautiful with Riot games taking time to update each champion/skins, Barron/Rift Herald, Dragons, minions and jungle monsters. It takes time but Riot games are making it's way through the roster continuously adding new skins or updating old ones and giving the basic skin overhauls to add new feels to the game.
